For barbers, stylists, tattoo artists, groomers & mobile trades
Your website, your bookings, and the line at the door.
Bookin-Q builds the site most independent shops never got around to, puts real booking on it, and runs the walk-in queue for everyone who just turns up. One product, one price, no cut of your work.
Free to start · No card · Your own domain when you want it
A website
Not a booking link on somebody else's page. Your services, your team, your hours, your photos, on your own domain.
Booking attached
Pick a service, pick a person, pick a time. No app to download, no account to make, confirmation in their inbox.
And the line
Walk-ins and appointments in one live queue, on the wall and on their phone. That is the Q.
Your site
The website you never got around to building
Most shops have an Instagram and a phone number. This is the page in between — the one that answers what you do, who does it, what it costs and when you are open, without anyone having to DM you.
Sections, not a blank page
Hero, services, team, gallery, hours, reviews, FAQ and a contact map. Turn on what you need, drag them into the order you want.
Looks like your shop
Themes, fonts, colours and corner styles that carry across every page, so it reads as one place rather than a template with your logo on it.
Your own address
yourshop.bookin-q.com the moment you sign up, and your own domain when you are ready — pointed, verified and served over HTTPS.
Bookings
Booking that fits how you actually work
Every shop runs a little differently, so the parts that vary are settings rather than assumptions: who takes what, how far ahead, how close to the hour, and whether a request needs your nod first.
Four taps, no account
Service, person, time, details. Guests book without signing up and get a confirmation email carrying their own cancel and reschedule links.
Everyone's own book
Per-provider hours, breaks, time off and service menus. The slot grid does the arithmetic — including the buffer between jobs and the travel gap for mobile work.
Approve first, or don't
Auto-confirm for a shop that takes what comes, or a request queue for one that would rather look at the day before saying yes.
The walk-in line
The Q: your line, live, on the wall and in their pocket
Appointment software usually pretends walk-ins do not exist. They are most of the day in a lot of shops, so they are a first-class part of this one — the same line, the same screen, the same wait estimate.
One line, one order
A walk-in claims the moment they joined; a booking claims the time it reserved. So the 11:00 who turns up at 10:30 waits behind the people already there, and ahead of whoever comes in after 11:00.
A board for the wall
Open the queue in display mode on a spare screen or tablet. It refreshes itself, and shows first name and last initial only — never the name you have on file.
“You're 3rd — about 25 minutes”
Send a person their own link and they can wait in the car, or across the street, instead of standing in your doorway asking how long.
After the first visit
The part booking software usually stops caring about
Getting someone into the chair once is the easy half. The rest of the product is about the second time and the fortieth.
The people who come back
A booking is one visit. The rest of this is about the second, third and fortieth — knowing who they are, what they had last time, and what they are owed if they are on a plan.
- An account with no password
- On their phone
- Monthly plans
- Receipts and a tax figure you can file
Chairs, not seats
Everyone who works with you gets the part of the shop they need, and nothing else. One person can own their own shop and take shifts at somebody else's on the same login.
- Three levels, on purpose
- Cutting and running it are separate
- Two rules the software keeps
Getting set up
An afternoon, not a project
Four steps between signing up and sending someone a link that takes their booking.
- 1
Make your shop
Name, kind of business, timezone. You get a site with your services roughed in from the industry preset and an address you can send someone to.
- 2
Bring your list over
Upload the price list and the client list — spreadsheet, PDF or a photo. Check what came through, fix the two rows that are wrong, keep the rest.
- 3
Put your hours in
Your week, your team's week, and how close to now someone can book. This is the part that decides everything the booking page offers.
- 4
Share the link
Bio, window, business card, or point your own domain at it. The first booking lands in your inbox and on your dashboard.
Who it is for
People who sell their own time
One customer, one person, one slot. That is the shape of the whole product, and it is why it fits a chair or a van and not a dining room. Classes with a headcount and bookable rooms are honestly out of scope.
Barbershops
Chairs, walk-ins, regulars on a monthly plan.
Hair & beauty salons
Stylists with their own books and their own menus.
Tattoo & piercing studios
Long sittings, deposits, artist-by-artist availability.
Groomers
Service durations that vary by the animal in front of you.
Mobile trades
A travel gap between jobs so the day is drivable.

Questions
The ones people actually ask
Do my customers need an app or an account?
No. Booking is open to guests — name, email, phone, done — and the confirmation email carries their own cancel and reschedule links. The passwordless account and the phone app are there for regulars who want them, never a gate in front of a first booking.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every shop gets a free address on bookin-q.com straight away, and you can point a domain you already own at your site whenever you like. Certificates are handled for you.
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
No. We charge a flat subscription and nothing per booking. Where money does change hands — a deposit, a monthly plan — it is your money in your account: we record what happened, we do not stand in the middle of it.
I already have a website. Is this still worth it?
Possibly not, and we would rather say so. This is a website with booking attached, built for operators who do not otherwise have one. If you have a site you like, you are buying the scheduler and the queue alone — try the free plan and judge them on their own.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It is yours. Owners can export their customers, services and appointments as spreadsheets whenever they want, with no exit interview and no support ticket in between.
Do you support classes, rooms or party bookings?
Not today. Everything here assumes one customer books one person for one slot. Classes with a headcount, rooms as bookable resources and table service are deliberately out of scope rather than half-built.
